DESCRIPTION: England, for Flavelle Bros. & Roberts, Sydney & Brisbane, Australia, lever fusee pocket watch, 9 jewels, key wind and set, gilt plate movement with lever escapement and gold balance in an 18 karat, yellow gold, engine turned and engraved hunting case with monogram on front cover, with London hallmark and date letter for 1874, and Roman numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial, gold spade and poker hands, serial #36825, 46mm, 93.8g TW.
CONDITION: CASE: Shallow dent, front; A few minor dings/ dimples; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on dome; Engine turning / engraving with minor wear; Front hinge bent, gap between cover and band when closed; Front cover extends slightly beyond 90 degrees when opened; One hinge plug missing; Bow worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Very good. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Dust cap dirty and with specks of verdigris; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
